This faux finishing project was commissioned by the owner of Zia's Italian Restaurant in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He asked me to create something "rustic Italian". I suggested walls reminiscent of Venice,Italy...aged plaster with trompe l'oeil bricks in areas where the plaster has "peeled away". I also did faux green marble on the counter front seen here. This project included the entire dining area...approximately 150 linear feet of walls.
