This watercolor was created specifically for the Honolulu Academy of Art "Watercolor on the Edge" exhibition. This show challenged Hawaii's artists to extend the boundaries of the watercolor medium. My entry was inspired by dreams of flying. It is free-standing and can be viewed from two sides (each side being a unique painting). It has several holes of irregular shape torn through the paper.
